Centennial Parklands Foundation is an independent charitable organisation established to raise funds and awareness to support and enhance the three magnificent parks of Centennial Parklands.
Its purpose is to ensure the Parklands are enjoyed now and by future generations by:
- inspiring connections that bring people, parklands and ideas together
- growing partnerships that help preserve, protect and enhance one of the World’s greatest green spaces
- nurturing a sense of pride, belonging and inclusion and;
- being the first choice for funding partners who want to create impact through genuine connections to people and the Parklands
The Foundation is listed on the Register of Environmental Organisations with the Australian Government's Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities
The Foundation is led by Chair, Rebekah Giles, and the Board of Governors. On a day-to-day basis, the Foundation is managed by the Foundation Executive Officer, Sarah Champneys.
