The Centennial Parklands Foundation is hosting its second annual Evergreen Dinner on Thursday 29 October 2009 at Centennial Parklands Dining. Tickets cost $200, with funds raised being used to plant a completely new circle of 102 semi-mature trees inside Centennial Park’s 3.6 km Grand Drive, providing new growth and helping to reduce the effect of the inevitable loss of the ageing trees within these iconic Parklands.
