Tree Donations
If you’d like to celebrate a birth, say ‘I love you’, or commemorate someone special you might like to consider the following options for leaving a tree in the Parklands.
A number of rewarding packages are available to plant or adopt-a-tree within the Parklands. This tree can become a focal point for family gatherings, a landmark in a child’s life, or a personal place for contemplation and your quiet enjoyment.
$5,000 Transplant Package
By purchasing a $5,000 transplant package, you will be entitled to:
- a new 3m to 5m tall tree in a significant location;
- a dedication certificate;
- a map highlighting your tree’s location;
- an inscription in the Commemorative Tree Book; and
- have your generosity marked with a plaque beside the tree.

$500 Adopt-a-tree Package
With this package you can “adopt” a tree that already exists in the Parklands. You will receive a commemorative certificate and a map showing the location of your tree.
Inner Circle Tree project
This exciting new Inner Circle Project in Centennial Park is a project that aims to plant 102 semi-mature trees around the inside of Centennial Park's Grand Drive. Find out more.
National Tree Day
The next National Tree Day will be held on Sunday 1 August 2010. To register your interest in planting a tree on National Tree Day, please email the Foundation.
