National Tree Day - Schools
Every year children from the Parklands surrounding schools come into Centennial Park to help enhance the Parklands ecosystem of flora and fauna by donning some gardening gloves for National Tree Day for Schools.
Approximately 500 local school children have taken part in this event since it commenced in Centennial Parklands six years ago, providing them with practical environmental education in a fun, outdoor setting.
The 2012 event has concluded. If your school is interested in participating in the 2013 National Tree Day for Schools in Centennial Park contact the Parklands Office on (02) 9339 6699.
National Tree Day is a Planet Ark initiative in partnership with Toyota.
