Litter Patrols
Each year Centennial Parklands participates in Clean Up Australia Day and we welcome all volunteers to join us on that day.
Adding to the regular volunteer participation in 2009-10, 7 corporate groups and 1 community group contributed 134 hours to volunteer participation by attending Clean Up Australia Day (CUAD). Over 600 kilos of litter was collected from around pond and picnic areas. The litter consisted of primarily bottle tops, straws, foam cups, glass bottles, plastic bottles and plastic bags. The community and corporate groups participating this year were:

- Vero
- Hills
- Citrix
- Fuji Xerox
- Paddington Woollahra Scouts
Litter collection as part of a wider corporate volunteer day is also supported, and can be arranged by contacting the Foundation.
